A railroad employee’s leg was crushed when two trains collided in a switching accident. He was operating one of the trains by remote control at the time of the accident. He was riding on one of the flat cars used to transport containers when, for an unknown reason, an engine collided with the flatbed, knocking him off the car and pinning him underneath it.
