Last Run: Division 375's Frank E. Rowell enjoys retirement
Brother Frank E. Rowell of BLET Division 375 (Spencer, N.C.) made his last run on March 28, 2004 as a locomotive engineer for Norfolk Southern.
Brother Rowell began his railroad career in 1968 as a trainman on the eastern division of the Southern Railway. He earned promotion to locomotive engineer on July 5, 1973, and joined the Brotherhood on June 1, 1973. From 1978-1981, Brother Rowell served as the Local Chairman of BLE Division 375 (Danville District).
Brother Rowell and his wife Elma have one son, Danny and a granddaughter. He enjoys fishing.

Brother Frank E. Rowell has enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family during retirement.
