SWCM Scholarships
SWCM awards 32 scholarships
The Scholarship Committee of the BLE's Southwestern Convention Meeting
association awarded 32 scholarships to college-bound children of BLE members
in 2002.
The financial aid packages range from $500 to $1,000 per student.
Applicants must be the child of an active, retired or deceased BLE member
whose division belongs to the Southwestern Convention Meeting. Applicants
must be accepted for admission to an accredited college, university or institution
of higher learning. Only divisions belonging to the SWCM are eligible.

Applications must be postmarked by September 12, 2003. Divisions must
have paid their SWCM annual convention dues by August 1, 2003, for the scholarship
applicants from their Division to be eligible for SWCM scholarships.
Winners are announced at the SWCM's annual convention, which will be
Sept. 28-Oct. 2, 2003.
